Certificate I in Transition Education
The Certificate I in Transition Education is intended for post compulsory school age learners with permanent intellectual disability / cognitive impairment. It aims to foster the development of social and personal skills relevant to participation in a range of adult operations and provides participants with knowledge and skills which will enhance their continued education and employment prospects.
The course encompasses

- Self confidence
Delivered one day a week over 2 years, this course provides pathways to further specific vocational education and training. It also supports learners to improve their employability and work readiness.
Course outcomes include entry to open employment and pathway access to other vocational training opportunities such as pre-apprenticeships and 22302VIC Certificate I in Work Education.
